What You Should Do If You’re Involved In An Accident. If you’ve ever been in an automobile accident, even a minor one, then you know how frightening and traumatic the experience can be. If you’re not seriously injured, then the most important thing you can do is keep a level head. We have put together a list of other things you should do:

• Get as much information as you can about the operator of the other vehicle. This should include the following:
  • Name and address of the other driver.
  • Name and policy number of other driver’s insurance company.
  • Name and addresses of witness.
• Call Police if someone is injured.
• Draw a rough diagram of the accident scene.
• Get immediate medical care, either hospital or physician.
• Do not give statements to anyone, including your insurance company, until after you have talked with someone from our offices. Sometimes, even the slightest misstatement to your insurance company can endanger your ability to recover for your injuries.
